About Bill
William “Bill” C. Kapteyn, Jr.
I grew up on the northeast side of Grand Rapids and graduated from Calvin College. Before entering the Financial Services industry I was the General Manager at two different restaurant chains in the area. However, I completed the certificate program in Financial Planning at GVSU’s Seidman School of Business while serving as Partner and eventual President of a small broker dealer firm in Grandville, MI.
What is most satisfying about the work we do is the depth of relationships that emerge. It is a pleasure helping answer the most important questions that transcend their financial lives. It is also a joy for me to bring young and intelligent people of high character into the business to teach them about financial planning and mentoring them to grow long-term client relationships.
My wife Nancy and I live in Byron Center. Together we have four children; Karly, Grant, Kirsten and Isaiah. I enjoy spending time at the pool with my grandchildren and visiting our family cabin.
